Our Mission

Financial Empowerment

At Fifth Third Bank our purpose is to improve lives and the well-being of our communities. We believe in doing well by doing good and that belief propels our community commitments, including our focus on building financial capacity for students. In 1948, we became the first financial institution in the United States to establish a charitable foundation. Today, we continue to help improve lives and we are a leader in financial education programming in the communities we serve.

Empowering Your Students’ Financial Future

With Finance Academy, we are offering two digital financial education courses to high school students because we know how vitally important it is to build financial capacity as students enter adulthood. Our best-in-class digital education has improved the lives of students in 10 states.
